BOB J. WALTERS, 74, of Linton, Indiana passed away at 9:52 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2011 in I.U. Methodist, Indianapolis, IN.
He was born May 30, 1937 in Coalmont, Indiana to Miner Walters and Lucille (Black) Walters.
Survivors include his spouse of 47 years, Sandra Sue (Hughes) Walters of Linton, IN whom he married on July 18, 1964; sister, Sally Walters of Terre Haute, IN; nieces, Tina Krueger of Terre Haute, IN, Tiffany Krueger of Terre Haute, IN, Emily Petrowski of Terre Haute, IN; great nephews, Jabin Petrowski of Terre Haute, IN; special friends, Billy & Kristen Fagg and Kayla of Coalmont, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bill Walters; sister, June Walters.
Bob was employed by Townsend as a tree trimmer for Public Service. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 10 a.m. to Noon Friday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services were Noon Friday, November 25, 2011 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Darren Sluder officiating.
Interment was at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN with Military Graveside Rites.
