MARGARET I. WEATHERWAX, 90, of Midland, Indiana passed away at 8:25 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2011 in Union Hospital Terre Haute, IN.
She was born May 18, 1921 in Dugger, IN to Willard Roy Sears and Bessie Marie (Pearl) Sears.
Survivors include her daughters & sons-in-law, Sandra & Bill Myers of Midland, IN, Shelia & Jim Yeryar of Midland, IN; grandchildren, Cindy & Rick Brown, Cheri & Doug Griffith, Cary & Angie Myers, Denise & Todd Gambill; great-grandchildren, Dustin Mattox, Brooks Mattox, Shea (Griffith) & Jay Boram, Alecia (Gambill) & Joey Edmonson, Drew Gambill, Jade Gambill, Taylor Myers, Trey Farrell; great-great-grandchildren, Jaedyn & Jordyn Boram, Blake Edmonson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John E. Weatherwax whom she married October 12, 1940 and passed away in 1998; 9-month old twin sisters.
Margaret was a homemaker and an 80-year member of the Lebanon Baptist Church.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Service time Saturday at the Lebanon Baptist Church. Funeral Services were 2 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2011 at the church with Pastor Brad Darr officiating.
Interment was at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
In lieu of flowers contributions were made in memory of Margaret to the Lebanon Baptist Church Building Project. Envelopes were available at the church.
