LAWRENCE A. “LARRY” WEINBRECHT SR., 69, of Coalmont, Indiana passed away at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2011 at his residence. He was born September 6, 1941 in Chicago, IL to August Weinbrecht and Virginia Weinbrecht.
Survivors include his spouse, Donna R. (Pilant) Street Weinbrecht of Coalmont, IN whom he married on April 5, 1980; daughters & sons-in-law, Sandra & Edwin Lund of Wisconsin, Debora L. Bialczak & Hector of IL; sons & daughters-in-law, David & Ingeborg Weinbrecht of IL, Lawrence A. & Deanna Weinbrecht Jr. of IL, Troy David Street of Coalmont, IN & John & Tammy Street of Jasonville, IN; mother, Virginia Weinbrecht; sister, Linda Datz of IL; grandchildren, Troy David & Rebecca Street Jr., Brittany Rhoderick, Ryan Street, Jake Street, Ellwood Street, Dalton Kirschner, Lawrence A. Weinbrecht, Michael Weinbrecht, Jessica Weinbrecht, Julia Rose Weinbrecht, Crystal Weinbrecht, Daniel Sobush, Mandy Weinbrecht, Dylan Weinbrecht, Erica Bialczak, Michael Bialczak, Zach Bialczak & Aiden Bialczak; Several great-grandchildren; and numerous special friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, August Weinbrecht; son, Eric L. Street on January 15, 2001. Larry was an over the road truck driver for Hickox Trucking Company for many years and was currently working Security with Owen Detective Agency.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Bush officiating. Interment was at the Friendly Grove Cemetery in rural Lewis, IN with Military Graveside Rites.
In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be made to help with funeral expenses. Envelopes were available at the funeral home.
