GERRAN TAYLOR WILKES, 23, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, July 17, 2016 in Knox County, IN.

He was born March 24, 1993 in Sullivan, IN to Jeff Wilkes and Brandy (Bogard) Wilkes Lambermont.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Brandy & Shawn Lambermont of Jasonville; father, Jeff Wilkes of Dugger; sister, Jesylan Lambermont and brother, Bron Walker Lambermont of Jasonville; maternal grandparents, Nancy & Gary Shipley of New Lebanon; paternal grandparents, Ed & Brenda Wilkes of Dugger, Max & Linda Lambermont of Jasonville; maternal great-grandmother, Mary Powell of Sullivan; paternal great-grandmother, Ruth Gore of Jasonville; several aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends, Ben Boyd, Brooklyn Samm, Rudy Wernz, Megan Miller, Matt Lyday, Josh Marlow.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Gerald Bogard; paternal great-grandparents, Charles & Dorothy Leigh.

Gerran was a 2011 Graduate of Dugger-Union High School. He worked 3rd shift at Sunrise Coal Mine. Gerran loved sports, working out, lifting weights, music and spending time with his family. He had a huge heart and infectious smile.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation was 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Lawton Street Christian Church in Jasonville, IN. Funeral Services immediately followed visitation at the church with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating.

Graveside Committal Services were 10 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2016 at the Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, IN.
