WILLADEAN (JENKINS) CLIVER, 88, of Linton, IN formerly of Jasonville passed away at 1:27 P.M. Thursday, April 21, 2022 in her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born October 11, 1933 in Jasonville, IN to Dannie Jenkins and Arlie (Reed) Jenkins.
Willadean married Thomas Cliver on November 7, 1963, he passed away on December 12, 2006.
Survivors include her children, Angie Cliver of Linton, IN, and Jeff Cliver (Natasha) of Linton, IN; grandchildren, Nikki Meurer, Madison Cliver (Joey); great-grandchildren, Drew, Colson, Brodey, Hunter; sister, Marsha Snellenberger (Carey) of Jasonville, IN; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; son, Randy Cliver; brothers, Junior Jenkins, Danny Jenkins; sisters, Cricket Keller, Viola Coleman, Greta Jenkins.
Willadean graduated Coalmont High School Class of 1951. She worked at GE for 27 years before her retirement, she then went to work at Walmart for 14 years. Willadean enjoyed gambling, playing bingo, poker and the slot machines. She also enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and going fishing with her husband.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 1 P.M. to 4 P.M. Sunday, April 24, 2022 at the Funeral Home. Services are immediately following at 4 P.M. with Pastor David Smith officiating. In keeping with Willadean’s wishes cremation is scheduled with burial at Woodard Cemetery near Dugger to take place at a later date.
