WILLIAM E. “WILLIE” HARRIS, 64, of Brazil, IN passed away at 11:11 A.M. Sunday, May 15, 2022 in his home in Brazil, IN.
He was born February 2, 1958 in Michigan City, IN to Arthur Harris and Zelma (King) Harris..
Survivors include his wife, Linda Harris of Brazil, IN who he married on June 5, 2004; children, Dianne Morrow of Jasonville, IN, Arnold Simpson (Nikki) of FL, Daniel Simpson (Janelle) of Shelburn, IN, Andrew Simpson (Terri) of Washington, Charles Simpson (Davia) of Linton, IN; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Ephern Harris of Terre Haute, IN; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Sonny Mize; sister, Patsy Acre.
Willie had worked for Thyssen Krupp in Terre Haute until his retirement and had also worked security. He enjoyed fishing, playing bingo and digging ginseng.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at the Funeral Home. Services are will immediately follow at 1 P.M. with Pastor David Smith officiating.
Interment will be at Peavey Cemetery near Howesville, IN.
