JOHN P. WILLIAMS, 90, of Linton, Indiana and previously of Indianapolis passed away at 3:30 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2017 in Greene County General Hospital, Linton, IN.
He was born June 7, 1926 in Indianapolis, IN to Homer Williams and Marie (Worth) Williams.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Norma (Downey) Williams of Linton; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa & Brian West of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Krista Borga, Ashley Borga, Miranda Williams, Logan Williams; step-grandchildren, Joshua & Gretchen West, Benjaman West; great-grandson, Arthur Borga; sister, Marjorie Williams of Greenfield, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, John M. Williams.
John was a Graduate of Arsenal Tech High School of Indianapolis. He retired from Lilly’s after 35 years of service as an electrician. He was a member of the Indianapolis Masonic Lodge F&AM. John was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, IN; coxfuneralhomejasonville.com. Cremation was chosen and no visitation or funeral services were scheduled.
