WILMA “JUNE” KENDALL, 86, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 6:55 a.m. Sunday, June 15, 2014 in Shakamak Good Samaritan Nursing Center, Jasonville, IN.

She was born December 7, 1927 in Greene County, IN to Ira C. Arnold and Iva E. (Sutherlin) Arnold.

June married Teddy L. Kendall on December 26, 1966 and he passed away on March 27, 1981.

Survivors include her daughters & son-in-law, Judy & Mike Barnes of Terre Haute, IN, Sandy Garrett of Bloomington, IN; sons & daughter-in-law, Jim Beadle & Elba of Elkhart, IN, Chuck & Lisa Rumple of Warsaw, IN; nephew, Jim Swan of Hymera, IN; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and 3 sisters.

June graduated from Jasonville High School in 1945. She worked as a secretary for Midland Elementary for many years, for the Greene County Extension Office for several years and in the Metropolitan School District of Shakamak Cafeteria. She also traveled with her husband, Ted in his over the road trucking business.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Private Family Graveside Services were scheduled for Friday, June 20, 2014 at the K of P Cemetery in Hymera, IN with Pastor Bob Dickey officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions were made in memory of June to: Alzheimer’s Association; 50 E. 91st Street; Suite 100; Indianapolis, IN 46240.
