DORIS J. (PASSEN) WISE, 95, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away at 11:18 a.m. Monday, May 27, 2013 in her residence.
She was born January 9, 1918 in Jasonville, IN to Theodore Passen and Mary (Hicks) Passen.
Survivors include her sisters, Betty June Petit of Wellston, OH and Della Passen of Terre Haute, IN; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lloyd Wise; brothers, Ted Passen, Bill Passen, George Passen and Jacob Passen; sisters, Margaret Funkhouser and Christina Ladson.
Doris worked for Schultz Clothing Store in Terre Haute for many years as a sales clerk.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. service time Friday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services were 1 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2013 at the Cox Funeral Home with Father Frank Renner officiating.
Interment was at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
